Can someone ELI5 these error messages for me?

I'm assuming you ran a DB rebuild? I've seen a few of those before and they don't seem overly critical to me. I'd just run the DB rebuild again.

Don't think its related to TRS22 SP 5 and more likely an Internet issue.

Correct.

I tried to install the path rule and it crashed to desktop. Every time I've had a CTD in this game, the route I am working on is no longer available in Driver/Surveyor. I have had some success restoring from the local folder and some success restoring from the backup folder but each CTD has resulted in losing hours of work. This time I went into CM after the DBR and could see it as open for edit. Committed those edits but the version in local is older than the one in backup which was hours older than the last time I saved. Annoying as hell.

Running the DBR again just gave me one more warning.

Also, I'm confident it is not an 'internet issue' as it's repeatable and it's the same set of errors as oldman777 is getting a half a world away from me.

Why not just export to CDP every now and then while working in Surveyor?
Would eliminate the uncertainty of losing/not losing hours of work. ☺️

Of course. And I try to. But you underestimate how difficult it is to deprogram forty odd years of being conditioned to accept that every time you hit save, there is a copy where you saved it....

Saving a save....
  • It's like belt and braces/suspenders.
  • It's like the quit button:
    • Me: Quit
    • It: "Are you sure you want to quit?"
    • Me: Yes!
    • It: "Are you really sure you want to quit?"
      • repeats ad nauseum... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The path rule has been outdated by the Enhanced Interlocking Tower (EIT).
Had to change from path rule to EIT on several of my routes.

The precache errors have nothing to do with our local databases. These relate to the package versions downloaded not matching what is referenced on the server(s). This was explained to us ages ago when T:ANE first came out.
