Can NOT delete fixed track object

Hey all!
I have downloaded many GREAT layouts but sadly they were missing assets from the DLS. The problem I'm having is two turntables on two different routes. The asset is missing so I found where it needed to be, used the remove all missing assets, and the orange box disappeared but the connecting tracks and connection circles still exist.
I've tried deleting the asset from the config file (still a no go). So I had to try and find another turntable that would cover the one the I can't seem to remove. The last one I just used the connection tracks made it into a 3-way switch just so I could make the layout look decent.

Try this: (May or may-not work): Restore the asset so it is normally viewed without the square red box. Try to "replace bulk assets", and replace it for a known asset easy to identify. You can isolate the area for replacement using the tools provided with this replacement tool. Once the new asset is visible, you should be able to delete it.

Note: You stated that deleting the asset in the config files (I assume you mean in CM) is a "no go". Then you have to ask yourself how come you still can see assets that are not available in CM. Logically, if an asset is gone for good, the game still may show that it is missing, and if you do a "delete missing assets", it should go away forever. Anything you still may see, may be part of that asset and would have to be identified and deleted doing all of the above. For this, if you can, have the offending asset in CM, and look at all the dependencies (including recursive), make a note of them and proceed to delete everything.

These may be spur tracks added to a turntable and are not part of the turntable. They are separate assets and need to be deleted by using the object tab and delete.
