Can hear the consist but can't see it

just got sim12. loaded consists and find consist stays hidden. can be driven in cab view but consist stays invisible. Consulted layers instructions and that was as clear as mud. Anybody know how to get at that consist

Is this right off when first starting?

If so give the program a chance to load. I find that sometimes Driver does that. No trains but lots of sounds for a few seconds.

Yes it is when starting in driver. After spending hours setting up about 7 consists with loading i then save and attempt a quick drive and find nothing that I have worked on consist wise is visual and after as it was suggested I wait a while (20mins) and all I STILL have is sound and invisible consist. And this is on all railways.

If you made a session in Surveyor, you'll need to select it and then select Drive Session in the Sessions list for the route, not Quick Drive.

You may have to go into Content Manager and do a database repair.

I had this problem a couple of days again. It turned out to be a boxcar. "conrail bethgon hopper full" kuid:55290:15602 By sureshot
This may or may not be the problem you are having but I could see the consists when first placed in surveyor but after saving the session I could not see the consist. I could run it in driver,Just not see it.

Thankyou Kenny, Tom and Captainkman,it all seems to be sorted. I did as you suggested Tom and did the data base. Then as Captainkman suggested I put all my consist on surveyor, saved then went over to sessions and loaded it from there. In the past I always did a quick drive and got away with it. The next idea was going to be a search for a defect like you suggested Kenny. Thanks once again.
