Calling all Trainz Web Site Owners

Johnk

Boarded October 2001
My new site Trainz Resources Directory is about to go public. I've listed almost a hundred active Trainz sites but I'm sure I've missed some. I've also visited most of the sites and written reviews on what I could find. I have yet to visit around 20 sites but will do so when I return home from a trip. This will be in late May.

If you own a site, can you please visit the Trainz Resources Directory and go to your listing. Just enter part of your site name in the search box on the left. Please read what I've written and check the link back to your page. If you don't like what you see, or if the link doesn't work, please contact me.

I've also listed any tutorials you may have written. Once again, there are many items missing, many of which I know about. Please look up your listings by locating your site name in the Contributors box (top left) or by using the search box.

Please note that this site will replace the now defunct Trainz Web Ring which I created many years ago. The directory is not a Mickey Mouse site and I ask you to take it seriously. It's had over 2,500 unique site visits since I placed it on the web earlier in the year and almost 500 visits in the past 30 days. Of the 500 plus listings, there have been 20,000 visits already. I expect these numbers to increase significantly when the site is officially launched.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Its not to do with trains, but i'm currently creating a tram information website. Its called Chris' Tram Info and has information, pictures, a forum and Trainz links. It will be on the internet in hopefully 3 weeks to a month.

Great site!

Wonderful site John! Very professional. This will be a great resource for the whole Trainz community... Thank You!:D

Moin,

Very good maked and interesting site, congratulation John!
I´m very happy about the available translator that you have build in, Thank you for that.

Thank you very much, John, for including us, IBerTrainZ, within your useful Resource Directory. We appreciate that and, of course, your kindest words when presenting us:

This incredible Spanish language web site

As for this...

sadly lacks any English language support. I tried accessing it via Google Translate, but the text still wasn't converted to English. If anyone knows how to read the site in English, please let me know so that we can share the information with others.

I'd like to tell the new trainzers who do not know us yet that we usually show our humble warmest hospitality at:

  • Our International Section at the IBTZ Forum --> http://foro.ibertrainz.eu/index.php?board=17.0 where all languages (even Klingon :hehe:) are welcomed (how we could understand some of them is another matter ;)). Trainzers can ask everything they wish there (except for money or how to become rich :p - keeping a just-for-funware Trainz website is not the way- ). Short easy registration is required (The Internet is getting unsafe and riskier as the 21st century is soon reaching its teenage)
  • Our official threads over here:
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=281
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=363
Would you like to add this extra info on your site, please?
Thank you very much again. Really a good useful job, John.

The how-not-to-become-rich side of Alberte
