CAB DOOR ANIMATION

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me to animate my Loco CAB doors. Is there any scripting required to click and drag the door inside the cab. If not then only door animation would be enough. Please let me know.

A door is a door. On a loco cab or a wagon. If you look at some wagons for passengers and some PKP freights, you'll see the doors opening and closing. There must be a script on these models. That is as far I can go on this.

Thanks for the info. Can anyone please provide me the simple script for CAB door animation. I tried using Freights and passenger cars script but ended up in errors. I found some content in TRS19 which include Loco with Animated doors but they don't have any script specifically for doors.

Of all the cab door models I have seen you need to have a door attached to the model for which the script can then be used...rrmods had quite a few as well as jointed rail locos ...

Hi,

I have attached separate (animated) door to the cabin using a.door attachment point. Still i couldn't find script for cab doors. For instance i am looking into EMD GP40-2 Cab <kuid2:276266:100442:5> and SW1500 Cab <kuid2:300193:107778:3>, they have animated doors but no script for them.

You don't need a script unless you want to trigger something else. Just add an attachment for the door such as a.left-door and add a mesh entry to the cab mesh-table. Use "kind lever", and set the angles tag to the open and closed position. Those values are in radians rather than degrees. You will find a conversion tool on the Internet.

The main rule when choosing a door is the color. It should be combined with any of the colors of the interior in the room. Curtains, furniture, or baseboard should be in the same style. I decided to make a complete cosmetic repair of my apartment two months ago. Firstly, I changed all the old ones to the glazed interior door. Btw, you should not paint different styles and talk about subtle pretentious design. You can also seek help from qualified specialists. If it is not possible to order multi-colored doors, then the priority should be given to the room closest to the exit
