Anyway Applegathc, I think that a C44-8W is basicly a dash 8 with 4,400 horsepower instead of the usual 4,000 horsepower found on dash 8s. I do not know how to tell them apart although I believe C44-8Ws look just like C40-8Ws.

First I start you with drawings, best use is open them in seperate IE tabs then switch between them to see comparisons.
