These units a F3A Phase 4 units.

Definition:

F3A ph4 - two portholes, horizontal grille from cab windows to rear of unit, louvered vents between portholes, low shrouds on fans, pointed overhang on roof at rear, (if dynamic brakes two rectangular grilles on top behind cab).

The C&EI had 10 of these units without Dynamic Brakes. I will be offering all 10 in a cdp. I did these for IllinoisCentral so he could expand his NKP route to the C&EI connection he has planned.

That was another of my back handed compliments. I tend to gravitate towards "ugly" locos. "It's hideous" = "gimme please".
