Busier roads in rush hour

stonks goin up
Hi people,
I was wondering if there is a rule or something like that where the roads get busier and busier in a set time limit (adjustable).

If anyone has any information on whether this can be done or this has been done, please tell me

No, there isn't, as far as I know. The rate at which cars are produced is controlled by the carrate tag, and I doubt even a script can adjust it. Too much traffic usually resuts in stupid overtaking behaviour, so it may not be a good idea.

Hey Paul,

We have drivers running over signs in Geelong, would look cool to see that in trainz.
and some road rage.
On Yarra st there's a stop sign that gets bent over 4-5 times a year. lol.

In all cities, you are going to get that.
Anyway, the idea is that, instead of 5-10 cars in 5 minutes, it gets steppped up to 40-50 cars in 5 minutes
Anyways, I have seen a couple of cars overtake already in trainz, because they decide to drive up their boot, literally

I notice this overtaking behavior on one of my layouts that has a grade crossing near a passenger station as the train will often tie up the crossing for a decent amount of time while doing station work.

Once I left a train over the crossing, and the cars started honking!

That's really funny when that happens! I have a particular area, an industrial park actually, where I leave part of the train on the branch while switching out the industrial siding. When I get back to the train, there are cars lined up for quite a distance with quite a few of them honking their horns!

It's funny to see them overtake each other as though there's a slow creep in the front tying up traffic.
