A good Start.

As said in the post before, do not forget ballast.

A few trees would be nice, undulations are recommended to break up flat land for miles, mix textures together to create a realistic looking ground.

Due to there only being one screenshot, I cannot provide much more than that :)

I look forward to seeing some more of your work :)

Regards

Johan

That pic is almost a week old, I have since added ballast and undulations, and am working on trees.

The Farmer stands in front of his new Tractor, and his old junked one is visible in the Farm Shed.

Yes, the route is fictional. It is also TS12 only even though I am making it on TSMAC.

Sorry for the double post, but this is a different topic so I figured it should be a different post. I really need help with trees. I can't figure out which type (SpeedTreez, "Perfect" Trees, Billboards) or what kind of Tree I should use for an area that I want to have some trees scattered around, but I don't want a dense forest, or no trees at all. And I can't figure out where to place trees and bushes to get the effect I want. Could someone help me Please?

Tree advice :)

I would advise using speed-trees close to the tracks or in close proximity to where the user will be. Then use non speed-trees for areas where the user may not visit. If you have a mid-high end computer/mac, then you can use speed-trees throughout but bear in some users may have computers which cannot handle speed tree heavy routes.

I would advise looking at some Russian layouts by the author Urman_diesel as his routes have helped me on many areas of scenery :).
