bnsf h2 jointed rail gevo

Dude, put it in the same thread you already posted! Don't spam post... Also, how about Jointed Rail? :n:

Also, it was probably a Dash 9... JR doesn't have any H2 Gevos... The differences externally are minimal to non-rivet counters...

I'm not a rivet counter but you'd have to make me half blind before I'm going to remotely consider a GEVO "minimally different" to a Dash 9.

Train20, since this is not Twitter, there's something you should do between "thought" and "post", it's called "think". Gee you saw a Jointedrail locomotive in a video, I wonder where it could be? jr.biz? jointed-rail.info? Or why not just stick a dotcom at the end like ... www.jointedrail.com?

Why don't we all use our brains?? He said he seen one in a video! WOA!!! Guess what?!?!? I found one in a video on youtube! As far as I know, this is a personal skin and is not avalibe... You could try the DLS under author n8phu.. I think he repaired some from sporbust to work in Trainz 12.

And as always,
Have fun!

Also, the ES44DC's are here. No HII though

Yes and you can see the differences between a GEVO locomotive and a Dash 9 are pretty significant. Minimal differences would be something like the SD50 and SD60 where they only have a few hood door differences between them.

I don't know, they look like modern diesels to me and pretty much the same. :)

With all my years as a rail fan, the only difference I could tell is if the diesel was an Alco, GM, or GE model.

And yes, Trainz20. Starting more than one thread on the same subject is considered spamming and can result in a locked forum account. As has been said, think before posting.

Some people are just set on showing "minimal" differences between the Dash 9 and Evolution series. Well.. The differences are significantly noticeable over other models.. The radiators are distinctly different. The radiator is bigger on the Evolution series. You'll notice the top part over the radiators on GEVO's stick up more than on the dash 9. Air conditioners on the side are considerably different. Dynamic brake boxes are different on GEVO than on dash 9 if I am not mistaken (???) The horns on the tops are even different. So yea, there isn't any minimal differences to even non-rivet counters.......

I'm sure this is obvious for people that actually have them around all the time. We're lucky that our local freight company has some "modern" diesels. They recently replaced some very badly worn out, as in run into the ground, GP40s and GP40-2s with some SD-45s. :)

lol...If it's newer than an SD80Mac, I couldn't even tell you who made it.

Ahhh I could understand that.. I live next to a UP Main, so I get to see plenty of GE's, and even the occasional BNSF ACe or Dash 9. We have plenty of local service here to.. We have BVRR (WAMX) and UP.. So I get to see a couple GP38's and a GP30M in Blue and orange.

I learned the differences so I could shake my fist and yell at them as they pass for replacing my beloved high hood EMDs.
