Blue Comet

Generally, different skins are considered separate locomotives (since they are separate assets). Unless a texture swapping system is used.

As it is, there are two locomotives (two classes, one being a 'modified' form of the original, which does utilize a different mesh, with some parts having been removed, such as builders plates).

Plus an extra skin for the 'passenger' version.

However, I would recommend that you still look at some of the available payware locomotives. Generally payware locos are approximately $10AU per locomotive. You will also generally pay another $10AU per locomotive if you want another skin. This is based off pricing for diesel locomotives from a well known US payware site.

However, you generally do pay extra for extra skins. In many cases, the same price as your first version, since each is a single loco 'pack' in effect.

This is a generalization, however it is to outline that, although as a number the price is 'high' (high being relative, in this case it is above $0.00), as an item it's cheaper than if each asset were available separately (based off approximate prices in my previous post, each item individually would be approximately $55AU).

If you swap out the tender it can even look a bit like an Erie K5, although the glow in the dark train numbers under the cab windows are a bit unfortunate.

Is this a reskin of the Blue Comet?

hija, ...

The Blue Comet is a very nice train.

The only criticism is that under the locomotive and the cars apparently is not a shadow plane.
This does not really look realistic.

In times where freeware user menu under the shadow of the locomotive in the editor and off to make ... this is for me a reason not to buy the addon.

Although the addon seems to be interesting.
Too bad all the more important a small thing.

As yoda would say....

"A beauty, she is."

Sigh ... but I don't have a choice picking just one item do I? I, as in MY opinion, I find it too expensive compared to TC3 ( as stated in my previous post ). Then compare the quality of this pack with freeware like, hmm ... Ocemy's for instance, and than it is WAY too expensive in my opinion. So in my opinion this package lacks BOTH in quality (Ocemy) and in quantity (TC3) to consider buying it. Of course I realise it is hard to convince an Auran accomplish of this. But alas, nice try ... better luck next time, I'll wait for alternatives.

Ocemy, has build very nice Assets, but all in China Look design.
Drive your Homeroute in China? Take this.

The BlueComet is good, but only the Groundshadow is missing.

No, it is china.

I speak not from the green Engine.
From blue and red Engine and Passenger Wagons.

He's referring to the other stuff on ocemy's site. (green engine = C36-7, blue engine = DF11/DF11G, red engine =DF7C. And of course the rolling stock.)

This sounds awfully familiar.... ;)

Talking about blue comet is on topic. Take your "bitching" about your inadequacie of not being able to install a service pack to another forum.

I got the Comet and after a lengthy install of SP3 I ran the Comet on a route to see what she looked like, I am suitably impressed with it. One thing though, How do you go 'inside' the coaches as stated in the advertisement. I know I can go in from external view but when I round a bend I'm out again.
There must be a way.
Cheers
