Hi...

this will be the screenshots thread for my newest Project. It is not one of the projects i start and then stop two days later. It is very important for me, and i wanted to do it since more than 1 year. I even stopped the NEC project until i finish this.
Here's some infos about the route: http://www.trainweb.org/southwestshorts/bmlp.html
here's a pic of the real line to show you what the 'BM&LP' is:

I already started to collect info's, and tried to reskin some cars...(they still need work lol). I'll also do the engines for this line, the BM&LP E60C and the NdeM E60C-2. The route itself will be completely prototypical EXCEPT the terrain, since i was not able to find a DEM for it.

Lets start...since the project starts tomorrow, here's only one pic of a Coal Car for now. It is not very prototypical, but i'm working on that....
More pics tomorrow :) (the route shown here is definately NOT mine)

Cant you just make a giant flusi WIP thread? You have like 5 or 6 different half completed/started project threads.

I think that all his threads are equally great ... each requiring a separate thread of their own ... very nice stuff ... keep it up Flusi737

As in Model Railroad layouts ... sometimes a route is never, ever, completely done ... Man is not complete, until he gets married ... then he is completely finished ! :hehe:

Just to say: I'm working on ALL routes. every weekend on another one. only the Metra is forever dead. The California Coastline is in Progress (25 miles now), the Jenny River Basin is finished, FMRR is finished, Keystone finished, Northeast Corridor (Beta phase) and CSX Mainline also finished. So where are all the half completed things...?

No this is not a discussion about other routes, and other threads ... This screenshots thread is about the: "Black-Mesa-and-Lake-Powell-Railroad".

And I want to see more fabulous screenshots, thereof !

Well...i just ordered TransDEM, so it takes a few days until the developer recieves the payment i think...i'll start the route as soon as i have the DEM file. You can easily guess that i can NOT build this without a DEM :p

Currently i'm only workin on the first of two E60 models, the E60C. Next is the E60C-2 in NdeM paint

more...well only loco#s :/ I have TranzDEM now, but i will probably never have the time to figure out how it works :(

I am sure you will like TransDEM, it functions well, has good support from geophil. It has a big learning curve but I well worth it.

hm....good question lol. I read the manual until 3 am yesterday....well and seems like i forgot everything i read :p Maybe because i'm working on locomotives, wagons, testing NEC signals and try to figure out TranzDEM at the same time ^^ Its always a problem if you have only the weekend to be in trainz...but there's no problem with the program itself :) It's just 'me'

Then, as the others have already have suggested, do it step by step, take your time. Remember, you did not learn the ropes of your 3D editor in one evening, did you? (TransDEM should be somewhat easier to master.)

Will do so :) But first i'll do the loco's, they have the highest priority for now :p and then i'll learn how to use TranzDEM...and if nothing helps....i built the whole NEC without DEM, so'll hopefully be able to do this 78 miles thing without one too LOL
