Black assets?

Hello everyone.

I’ve downloaded some assets from the download station & installed them in game, but they are showing up as black.

The 2 assets are Cardiff station 1 & 2 and the class 66.

Content manager is not showing any missing dependencies.

Anybody have any ideas please?

I have black parts of an asset. Never on a rolling stock. A fence or wall. So far I haven't seen anybody giving an explanation nor solution. But these assets were working on previous versions of the game. Note I say game, not simulator: In view of all the issues we have, I am downgrading Trainz to just "game".

Sometimes I delete and re -download and it comes up ok. I have that particular station and there are no issues with it.

Interesting, that is exactly the "alternative method" to the solution that Shane describes at the bottom of the link he provided in post #3 above.

After using Shane's alternative method, everything seems to be working fine.

No worries - it's actually a fairly common problem which is why I've got a tutorial on dealing with it.
