I noticed lately that there are threads for birthdays scattered all over this particular forum. I have decided to create a thread just for birthdays. Anyone can announce a birthday and we will congratulate them, ect, ect. :D

Mods, could you please sticky this thread, thank you!

So lets being with today's birthday!

Happy Birthday HiBaller!

Happy Birthday Again From your friendly neighborhood...

Happy birthdays to all listed --- ,DLR

(( But I must admit I was quite happy with the old 'system' . I imagine when this thread becomes quite large , it will become a hassle to find and select those ' special friends ' in the thread ? )
Just my opinion --- ,DLR )

I agree with the last read in deeelare's post.
How do find out who's birthday it is without searching and searching through this thread?
Somebody will post somebody's birthday ans then somebody will post a "happy b-day" post for a previous person, rather confusing I say!

Cheers,
Woody:cool:

What do you mean, "old system".....somebody starts a birthday thread and it automatically becomes official?....nay....the way it is now, the birthday boy/gal gets the honor of their own thread....not buried in an all encompassing birthday thread....

No offense to Adam, but I prefer to wish a happy birthday to those I feel connected to in some way. The birthday list Auran provides on the forum is nice for providing the information, but I wouldn't wish someone a happy birthday that I regard a complete stranger.

I also feel a thread that list EVERYONE'S birthday is a bit cool and impersonal.

I will continue to offer a greeting to those I choose, separately.

To each their own...;)
