bi-directional signals

hello there i was wondering if any one was making bi-directional signals that are together like one signal side by side on one pole if any one knows where to find these please let me know thanks.

I'm making them! Just figuring out how to make the one aspect one light up.

that looks cool will they turn on when the train comes by them and turn of at the next signal like they do in real life thanks for letting me know about these signals. and one other thing will they work for trainz 2006.

The config will leave the signal:

No train approaching ... Dark/off
Signal Clear for one block/next is red/train approaching butr not within block... Yellow
Clear for two, three + blocks... Green
line reserved for oncoming train... red

you will have to make the single head a separate signal. you cant signal both ways with one signal object.

Could you make a single double and triple head detached or reccomend it within the jointed rail group becausse I use your signals and there are alot of spots on the line where they are doubled up like this.

No pressure, but I just thought I would throw that out there. You wouldn't even have to modify the current signals. You could make the new ones and still use the side ladder.

It really goes down to the RR using them.

At least my mesh should be formatted to allow the reversed heads. CSX uses them a lot, and FEC uses one half of that reversal portion on the DV,non-DV signals, etc.

Anyway, I did modify the Hollywood signal to eliminate the NB single head. I made a floating head.

I assembled it with the two meshes, and you can barely tell the difference!

And also, flashing yellow means proceed at maximum speed for 1 block and continue on at medium speed at the next block.

It basicly uprgrades an approach to an approach medium.

I agree you will not be able to make these work I have tried a long time ago with my UP Signals

Yes but it is easy to cheat to make it look bi-directional

You just put the signal on the wrong side of the tracks, and put it close to the stand. It looks like one piece, but works as two...or three signals, however many you add. they just have to be set at different heights. But you will need to make about a half dozen different objects to make it work, and it will be up to the user to assemble it

Anyway these can be back-dated to TRS2006 or 2004?

@ Klinger

I made these to work in 06 no matter what, though I have 09.

I don't know how to make the lights work, I tried the CCG and it doesn't help.

Although I would like to ask: Any advice NS37? Much appreciated.

I have Gmax and used the attachment points on it, like a.light00 and so forth. I tried using the config in a similar arrangement to the way you used it (NS37) and it deems faulty. Maybe the thing is I didn't make separate kuids for the coronas, which'll be specialized.

Make it facing forward, give it a negitive
trackside number and then flip it
.
