Beware new NVidia app?

I have used it for quite some time now with no noticeable difference in performance. Maybe it affects certain games more than others?

Thanks for the update. I'd heard about performance losses before and haven't been using it.

Thank you for the heads up. I updated my drivers yesterday and didn't choose the NVidia App. The installer automatically defaults to the driver with NVidia App and it's necessary to choose the no App version. This is one of those things that we have to be aware of because we tend to just click next without reading the screen.
