Best way to show waves

Hello!

I was wondering what is the best way to make the best simulation for an ocean beach. There is no way trainz can display waves effects, though I have seen there were some animations back then that were a work in progress, but never got finished by the community. Any ideas would be appreciated.

While waves can be easily added to a Water Effect Layer, you would need breaking waves for a shoreline and, as you noted, that would require that a specific animation be created. The animation would (I suspect) probably have to be an animated spline asset so that it could be fitted to the shoreline. I do not know if animated splines are possible in Trainz.

There are some really old animated river objects that might do the trick. Cyberstorm did this for his waterfalls.
