Best payware routes

Thank you for the rersponse. But if I need to buy the German version of Trainz 2007 to be able to play those add-ons then I think I'll pass. Thank you kindly for the link. Much appreciated. ;)

I was under the impression that TRS2009 includes the built in content for TRS2007.

Detailed

For some English routes and all for free search my name, angelah, there are plenty.

My biggest is the run from London Paddington to Reading in Berkshire. I am again working on the second section, but that will take a long time to complete.

Other 'real' routes are Kent & East Susses Railway and Hayling Island, a smaller single line route.

Try Branchlines UK and Branchline SLW. A ficticious route in Blackheath Downs and that comes with two kinds of track. I suggest the Norfolk track version, that track is on the DS.

You can get some downloads from my site (below), they are zipped files so should come down faster.

Blessings,

Angela

Oddly enough the server is indeed blocking direct links to that page. In other words, you will have to go to http://www.spaintrainzrutas.com/, click "Web" button, click "Descargas" button, then click "Rutas" button to get the page that meatloaf747 linked in his post. :)

Tiking,
My appoligies, I forgot that my system is automatically set-up to log straight onto STR's site with user name & password. http://www.spaintrainzrutas.com/ - Log onto the site and follow Tiger313 above directions to get to the Route download page.
I can't remember whether you have to register first or not????? Try first, then if you have to register, it's free...
Thanks Tiger313 for providing the path/directions.
Cheers, Mac...

No probs! If a link don't work and I'm curious enough, I always check to see if I can make it work for me one way or another. Figured I might as well share how I got it to work. :)

Not personally having TS2009 young John, I cannot possibly confirm or deny, however, as well as the TRS2007 CD there is also an expansion pack, which, I'm sure has a few more locos and layouts that you can't get in 09, for us Europeans to enjoy anyway......

My oppinion is that never a freeware route will compete with a good payware route. Why?

1. In most of the payware routes you get custom content that is not available otherwise.

2. A payware routes has always a few sessions (which in my oppinion are priceless)

3. A GOOD payware route will always have a higher detail level than a freeware one. You can compare 95% of the DLS routes with , let's say, trainz.hu payware route, Debrecen - Nyiergyhaza. And you will notice the difference.

Of course, there are some pay routes which are worst than some free ones. This applies also regarding rolling stock.
