Berkshire Loco?

Does the 2-8-4 Berkshire loco exist on the DLS or anywhere?

I've searched all over the place and think that it just hasn't been made, as yet.

Thanks

At least three have been started and they have all turned to vaporware. The best one was the one the professional movie industry modeler started, but he ran into a few little problems like a new job and a divorce. I don't know what there is about the Berk but it seems to inspire non-completion.

Like I have said before:

There is some one on here working on one.

There are plenty of threads. I suggest using the search tool next time.

Oh, and my sig....that is a berk running.

Last I heard he was having some conig file problems.

And I am working on making some better sound files, such as the Whistle and Bell. No offense, but I just dont like the one sound file you can download off the DLS.

I am surprised that only one member is working on a berk.

Guess it was a bit too much to hope for. I'll keep waiting and hopeing somebody completes one.

Thank you all for posting.

If you've got $12 there are plenty of nice paywear berkks built by leffer. At leaaast I think that's how his name is spelled. A perch for Cumberland Trains will turn up some results. Though I think he might have, for the time geeing, shut down his site. I have a few of his and I love them.

Mike has shut down Cumberland Trains, but if you contact him directly and have a paypal account he will work something out.
