If I remember correctly there should be a PDF file somewhere in the Auran install directory which is the TS2006 Manual (The latest). If not you can download it from the Auran website. This has basic tutorials.

The TRS2006 manual is in TS2009 WBE. The path is; C:\Program Files\TS2009\Extra\Documentation. - In that directory you will find TRS2006 Manual & also the TS2009 User Manual... (That path is assuming you installed TS2009 to the default directory).

when i got my copy of UTC i found alot of information on Virtual Railroader.com. The info i found was for basics starting with TS2004. but most of it was still useable. i just got TS2009WBE and plan on going back through the PDF's i saved from that site.

If you download, or open the TRS2006 manual on your DVD, you will find a tutorial or two at the back. One will get you to create a loop between a coal mine and a storage centre of some kind. I did the tutorial some time ago and I thought it was excellent. Once you get the basics down, you can add more points, hills buildings, roads etc and have a ball - all on a single baseboard. It really is a fantastic beginner's guide.
