You may do better with Trainz 2006, if your system can support it, as there is a useful monorail pack included (click Extras on the Launcher to access it)

I have to say I have never touched trainz so I am gonna need a lot of help. Where do I download the WDW Monorail Project and how do I start. Also what is the best product of TRS2006 on Ebay?

I plan to run 3 Mark VIIs on a figure eight loop, 2 stops, and a spur line to the roundhouse. I need a lot of help. Once NIARTcar releases the DRL I will use that.

I would not advise buying Trainz off ebay, as there is a good chance that you will not be able to register it, unless you can verify that it is shrink-wrapped and has never been used.

Also 2004 and 2006 are no longer supported so you won't be able to download anything of the DLS without purchasing an FCT.

Would make more sense to buy a supported version.

What do I do than? How can I easily run a monorail and track from the WDW Project, as well as the Mark VIIs and grovers from NIARTcar? I do not have the money to buy a new version.

The supported ones are Trainz Classics 3 or later. (Trainz Classics 1+2 is supported until September this year)

Without knowing much about your system, it is impossible to advise on exactly which version.

It still depends on how much memory, what processor, what graphics card etc are in your system.

As the monorail pack is included in TRS2006, someone who currently uses that version may be able to advise on the best method of getting the information, otherwise it's in multiple parts on the Download Station.

TS2009 or later should be able to work with the monorail pack, but it may appear faulty.

TS2010 runs just fine. It runs really sluggish on my old desktop machine, but it runs fine on my laptop (except that the speedtrees really slows it down, so I replace them). If you want to download anything from the Download Station (DLS), which I suspect that you eventually will, then you will need to purchase a First-Class Ticket (FCT) if you don't purchase one of the supported versions and even then, I highly recommend a FCT. I'm not going to be so bold as to recommend which version that you should buy. There's plenty of folks here that will do that and to be honest, it depends a lot on your system capabilities, especially the graphics card. Trainz is graphically VERY demanding.

Good luck.
