Begining Questions

I bought this game because I wanted to play with steam engines....

all I can figure out is i see ROUTES, SCENARIOS and RAIL-YARD and I see no steam engines in any SCENARIOS or ROUTES but i see them in the RAIL-YARD (I think or do I have to buy an expansion?)

How do I get them In a game to play? I'm very confused, I bought this on STEAM and have no book

On the launcher scree click Manual............

You need to remove the yellow favourites star in the menu, otherwise you only get a few routes.
