Basic Slug

Now I don't plan to post a thread on every one of my projects, but here is a slug I made in 3-4 hours. Feedback please.

It seems a bit too tall in my opinion, and needs a little work in the texture department. The color is too solid, and not the right type of blue. I would say weather up the paint a bit. The frame is much too solid. (Maybe copy a diamond plate texture onto the top?)

I think that it will look great with a bit more work, mainly in the texturing department.

It seems that the conrail slugs had a bit of paneling(2 panels) on the side, as well as a few other details. (It is a different model of slug based off of an Alco, but you can see what I mean about certain things, such as the frame.)

And by the way, I am interested in this when it is finished since I will probably skin it into PBNE.

Hey JadeBullet. Thanks. I plan to make it better as far as texturing goes. I'm not very good with texturing, but I hope to get better. Thanks again.

It's a great start. I also agree that it appears too tall. I too struggle with texturing. It's just not one of my talents, but you'll find that through lots of practice, your texturing will get much better.
Keep it up and we all look forward to seeing its progress.
