Basic portal consist shortcut?

I'm setting up some of the portals on my route and I'd like to know is there a way of using the ready made consists instead of having to build a new consist from scratch for each portal?

I suppose it might depend on what portals you're using, but for the plain vanilla portal it should be obvious;
