basemaps

In another thread Stagecoach suggests giving the Basemap a name because it stops it from disappearing when it is viewed from an oblique angle. I can vouch for the effectiveness of doing this.
 
Basemaps occasionally slip below the surface and flicker, and need height change by tugging up & down.

They often times get tuged out of alignment, when you push a building around.

Basemaps are best manipulated from looking straight down, with trainzoptions file at @ -surveyorfov=125, give or take a bit (=85 to =185)
