BASEMAPS

Hey guys.

when im applying basemaps to the boards in Trainz 2010 they keep disapperaing and re-appearing and when i click on it to move them they move miles away and then i have to drag them all the way back to where i want them.

anyone got any solutions to my problem??

yes I have a similar problem, base maps disappear when i view them from the top, but not always.

If I adjust the view to 80de from full vertical they reappear, makes it more difficult to lay track Ect..
But why? In Trainz 2006 No Problem.

Tip from me is to select a corner of a baseboard and not the middle.

For fine positioning, hold down the shift key, whilst doing it.

Select the centre and it will shoot off into space!

in the Trainzoptions file add & alter the line any numeral, up to the numeral: -surveyorfov=185 temporarily for a far away fish eye lens view, easy for manipulating basemaps.

When done, reset the line to: -surveyorfov=55
