Hi,
I have a problem getting a Loco, I have constructed, to appear in Surveyor.
I am using Trainz 2009 sp 3.
It shows up in the trains tab in white text, but no image.
The Bogey Config.txt is as follows :-
username "Peggy Bogey"
kuid <kuid:171690:1098>
trainz-build 2.9
category-class "ZB"
category-region "UK"
category-era "1930s"
kind "bogey"
mesh-table
{
default
{
mesh "peggy.im"
auto-create 1
}
}
The .blend file exports ok from Blender without errors.
Everything imports ok into CMP with no errors.
Attachment points were placed at a.bog0, a.bog1, a.bog2, a.limback, and a.limfront.
The Loco Config.txt is as follows :-
kuid <kuid:171690:1042>
username "Peggy Loco"
trainz-build 2.9
category-class "AT"
category-region "UK"
category-era "1930s"
kind "traincar"
engine 1
enginespec <kuid:-1:44482>
mass 37000
origin "AU"
mesh-table
{
default
{
mesh "peggy_loco.im"
auto-create 1
}
}
bogeys
{
0
{
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:-10:149>
}
1
{
reversed 1
bogey <kuid:-10:149>
}
2
{
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:171690:1098>
}
}
Loco exports ok from Blender (.blender file just consists of a Boiler for present)
Imports without errors into CMP.
Attachment points are as the 5 shown above for the Bogey.
The only way I can get anything to appear in Trainz , is to use the above bogey ‘peggy.im’in a ‘traincar config , but then I don’t get animation.
I would be much obliged for any help.
My understanding of the process for building Locos for Tainz is:-
1. Draw and produce an .im file for the Bogey
2. Use ZB -Bogey for config file
3. Draw and produce an .im file for the Loco
4. Use “traincar” AT for the config file
Add Bogeys to config , using Invisible bogeys at’ a.bog0’ and ‘a.bog1’ , and using the above bogey at ‘a.bog2’
Hope I’ve included everything, I would have included .blend files, but my understanding is that attachment files are not allowed on the forum.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Barry
