Ballast

Is there any way to make a ballast spline.as one of the worst things in building a route is getting the track ballast to look good,especially on curves.It could be made in varying widths depending on the number of tracks..or maybe the width for one track,and just join them together.I realise there are many types and shades of ballast,so I guess it would be a problem in that regard...L

Default content in TRS2006, called Schotter_1, under splines. Otherwise I can't help you.

Thanks for the suggestions...but all I get from the Mistral site is a page of programming....and Frank Dean gets a "Nothing Found"on the DLS..I just thought it could be made like a gravel road spline..but using ballast instead of gravel...anyway just a thought and thanks again for your replies..L

The Frank Dean rail bed is TRS2004. Make sure your filter is set to accept TRS2004 assets when you search. It should work in later Trainz. Do a copy and paste of this kuid number
236618:81030
in the search and be sure it's set to do a kuid search.
Then click on the "View Pack" and download the pack to get everything all at once.

That is strange, I can load Mistral69 website in IE8 and Mozilla fine from that link. Maybe the day you tried it was down for some reason etc. But if you wanted to see his spline, You could probably contact Mistral69 via PM on forums here and he may email it to you. It is a really good spline I use it alot.
