Baldwin Mikado D59 Coal/Oil Burning locos. Need some errors fixed

Ok so while viewing the Australian Screenshots thread, I found some screenshots featuring a oil burning 59 mikado by Alex23 and a coal burning 59 mikado by ad602000. Being a big fan of the 59 mikado, I've wanted a 59 for trainz for ages, I currently use Billegulla's 59 mikado and its amazing, the problem I have is that I want a oil burning variant with interchangeable numbers, a coal burning 59 with interchangeable numbers, a 59 in LVR livery and one in RTM livery, with interchangeable numbers. I realize this would be a lot to ask so I downloaded AD60s 59 and Alex23s oil burning 59 thinking I wouldn't have any problems and well, these are the errors.

If somebody could help me fix these errors I would be grateful or if somebody has made the 59s specified above that would also be awesome. Again I realize this is a lot to ask, but being as complicated and hard it is to create or even modify these models for trainz not everybody has the skill to make or modify them, I've tried and gave up halfway through, I was trying to make a replica of the 5 inch blowfly locomotive.

Any advice, tips, help or places where I can find these models would be great.

looks like there is a problem with the shadow mesh - you might be able to Google a fix for it.

Now if it was me I would maybe look at using quick shadows to do a replacement mesh

From the errors, looks like the classic main mesh used for the shadow, which is no longer supported, probably never was actually. In which case just copy all the texture.txt files and the image files from the body folder to the shadow folder.

Or alternatively and lest wasteful on space, move the shadow.im to the body folder and change the path in the config and delete the shadow folder. Not perfect but not a lot else you can do without Windows.

Someone who has the asset can be more specific or maybe post the config file on here.

Why not have a crack at re skinning

Well the one that I currently have which is the working one by billegulla, it uses these weird texture files that are hard to reskin and I can't figure out how to re number it. If I find the kuid, would you take a look and help me?

Hi Falken442,

Bill uses 'Block' texturing which tiles the texture over the model and it's not the same as a 'mapped' texture which is the whole model flattened to the textures, Bill also uses '3d mesh' numbers and the only way to change them is with the Gmax files themselves.

Cheers.
