BAD Trojan, Data back-up

How easy would it be to copy my rolling stock CDP's and route files to a disk?Secondly, would I have to convert custom routes to CDP's first? How would I do this? My system caught a BAD trojan, and it appears to be going in the toilet. I cannot use internet explorer, and AOL is going in an out. I am trying to save all my data to disks, including files for Trainz 2006 and Microsoft Train Simulator. Quick answers would be appreciated, as I'm not sure whether or not AOL will go out again.

Thanks,

Take the PC to the shop. I had to do that twice. A good computer shop will clean out the nasties and save your data. Most virus attack the operating system not the data. Hope your PC gets well soon.

Split your content into different folders as a CD can only hold 700mb anyway, or, put it onto a USB stick if you have one.

When you have got everything archived / saved to disc, then you can sort out your PC problem.

Try doing a full system restore to when you first got it, called a manufacturer's restore I think, read the manual, you can do it yourself at home and it won't cost anything.....Then if that doesn't get rid of your worms, then take it to a qualified computer expert.

Good Luck.
