I know in Trainz 2010, there are some modern cars built in, they are usually named Car 1, Car 2, Car 3, Car 4 for the modern car, look out for the Car with the capital "C", these are the modern cars, lower case "c" is for the old fashioned cars, it would look like this in the list.
car 1
Car 1
car 2
Car 2
and so on...

As for trucks, they are sometimes named "Semi" / "semitruck" / "semi truck" in trainz 2010, these look American in nature, but I maybe wrong.

And finally, for anything to do with construction, sometimes looking under the name "CAT" or truck or tracktor / traktor, might give you some equipment.

As for pick up trucks, I don't remember seeing anything like that, but there may some available somewhere, try searching on the DLS, this might give you more results.
