Automatic Deletion of Assetsr

I had an instance a year, or two, ago where some of my already-installed assets were deleted when I deleted a "paid for" route. Can that still happen?

I lost a bunch of assets after the Christmas 2021 sale thing ended.

My imperfect understanding is that if you delete (uninstall via the Content Store) a DLC route then any assets that were installed with the route will:-

• be classified as Payware (not active) if the assets were also payware but they should not be removed from your system
• be classified as Packaged if the assets are also available on the DLS but again they should not be removed from your system

That, at least, is the theory. There have been some "glitches" with this system in which case you are advised to make a bug report.

In the case of Payware (not active) the assets can be made "active" again by re-installing the DLC route.
