Auto Running Numbers?

could anyone tell me what Auto Running Numbers are? I recently downloaded some locomotives "JR,RRMods" and in the description it said "Auto Running Numbers" what exactly is that? Is that a feature that allows the running numbers on trains? Because ive never used running numbers or assigned them to locomotives.

Across the board the meaning really is that the locomotives will display a number "set" persay, in some cases you set a range of say starting at 4010 and ending at 4900. Trainz will then pick a random number and assign it to that locomotive in game and it will display as such in game. You dont really have to worry about the locomotive ever having the same number then unless of course you have a small number range.
