Zec I saw a post about auran joining with N3 something and now I can't seem to find it. Any help? I think sins of solar is by that company. If so, I'll order with EE and murchison. That't right, it also mentioned murchison in the thread.

Auran did not join N3V, Auran created N3V. N3V is a game publishing company. Sins of a Solar Empire was published not developed by them, but Trainz Simulator such as Trainz Simulator Murchison is developed and published by Auran.

PS:EE and TSM is not available yet.

Baz....you probably read it in the newsletter. Here's what it said:

Company Changes

As many of you are aware Auran and N3VRF41L Publishing Pty Ltd have always been associated. Approximately 1 year ago N3VRF41L took over all publishing and distribution of the Trainz franchise, this has led to N3VRF41L taking ownership of TS2009:WBE and all future versions of Trainz.

I recommned you read the latest newsletter which disagrees with you.

Also the footer of the Auran hompage would suggest a different arrangment:

This is probably the results of the reorganziation of Auran after their Fury failure that nearly wiped the company out.

The name is very intersting...
N3VRF41L Publishing = NEVERFAIL if you look at it past the spelling.

I do this type of thing for secure passwords all the time. :)

John that is very clever and interesting.

I am not sure who, but the father of one of the founding people with Auran was the original "owner" of Neverfail Spring Water in Australia, or something like that.

I just looked up some things and saw that "Neverfail" is a registered trade mark of the Coca-Cola Company.

I also looked at the original thread concerning this and Tony Hilliam's name is mentioned, so I imagine that it was Tony's father who was first involved/owner in the "Neverfail Spring Water" company.

As Neverfail is now part of Coca Cola, no one would be able to use the name due to copyright laws however "N3VRF41L" is a very clever way to use it again :hehe:

Very interesting.

My 12 yr old tells me to get with the times, "It's called Leetspeak dad, I use it all the time on games." I must be getting old. LOL.

Cheers

:hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

I do not know why, but when I was sitting in the pub the other day I saw a Neverfail truck outside and thought of Trainz then.

The comment about the association with Neverfail goes back many years on the old forum and I am not sure why it came up. Its just something that has stuck in my mind ever since reading it.
