Auran changed my password

I have just changed ISP, went to home page & updated new email address.
Then Log in failed.
Got back into Log in & did send password.
Fortunately, it updated the email address.
I DID NOT change my password.
Any idea what is going on?
I do have the Original version of Trainz registered, but don't remember the user name or ISP I was using & can't see how I could ever find out. This was in Dial Up Days.
As I said this did update my email or I would be in the same situation as my original version,
Regards,
Lance

I think it is very unlikely that Auran/N3V would change your password (as per the title of this thread).

Your ISP (old or new) would not have your Trainz logon password so changing your ISP would have no effect on your password or logon procedure.

It is more likely that your password is stored somewhere on your system and this was automatically sent when you logged in - most browsers have an automatic login feature for your favourite sites. Firefox used to do it for me everytime I accessed the DLS or these forums on my old XP computer. Now, with WIN 7, I am much more security conscious so my Norton 360 anti-virus, ant-spam, anti-everything program takes care of all my logon passwords for me.

It is also possible that when the first login "failed", and you reaccessed your account, your web browser was actually still logged on.
