Attention Critics!

You are reading this.
Hello,

For Computer studies this term I have to make a title screen for YouTube. This is a great assignment as I am one of the few students to have a YT account, and I'll probably be the only one to actually use the video!

I'd appreciate it if some constructive critisizm was left here for me, so I can make this better! So throw your every thought at me!

Here's the video to look at:

And at school we have an iLearn program, basically an our-school-wide forum, and we had a thread to post comments on each other's title screens when they were shown to the class. I'll try and get their comments up too.

Here are my 2 cents:

I like the train "crashing" the camera.

It is unclear what "OFP 857" means, so either leave it out or dont use the abreviation (assuming it is one) and write out the full words. Whatever it is, your name is probably more important then what it means and in that case you want your name bigger and those other letters smaller.
If you need more time to show text in general, the tune you added probably sounds beter when slightly stretched.

Either leave the "(Is Awesome)" out of it, or at least give people a few more frames to actually notice it. I would probably choose leaving it out since that probably makes it just look a bit more professional / less childish.

Just my opinion of course.

Thanks for the input guys.

The OFP857 is part of my YouTube username, that's why it's there. It does stand for something, but that is only when it is on Herbie's numberplate. Someone had already taken captainkman, so I added Herbie's numberplate at the end for my YT username.

Those are fair points regarding the duration of the screen and the (Is Awesome) part. It's just that most of my viewers are quite childish! :hehe:

Kieran.

P.S. OFP857 means Our First Production, August '57. Accordign to the crew and cast members on The Love Bug. It's in the bonus footage.
