I went to Montclair, yes I caught MNCR 4193, BUT, all 12 crossings at Montclair and DANGED STUPID QUIET ZONES!!! Way to go Montclair, you just destroyed one of my favorite places to railfan. The MNCR F40 I caught was an EXPRESS, Hitting 75-80 miles per hour, didn't blow its horn for the crossing at Montclair Heights. Imagine if a car drove around the crossing, creamed by the express. BUT!!! If you buy three cappucinos, it is only three--I mean, if you want to railfan at Montclair, look at the alternatives.

My whole point is, Montclair will never be the same. People will say Hooray for useless stuff like quiet zones!, and we'll say Yeah, get more auto insurance, you'll need it.
It may be just Montclair, but it will spread like a wildfire throughout NJ and NY. What is tommorrow, people say, well now we can have them, lets do it!
