I very much appreciate the point you made regarding the bulk shipment of Auran Trainz to Europe and the problems faced with the customs. However, it should have been priority to Auran to make sure that sufficient stock of products where in the hands of its distributors and ready for individual release and posting to customers on the launch date of 2010. If there were problems surely the launch date should have been postponed until the situation was resolved for the benefit of its customers and the reputation of the company
Following that and seeing that Trainz is a niche market would not it had been better after the initial launch to use a supplier and carrier such as UPS or Fed Ex to post individual copies worldwide through their service. I cannot believe that the sales after the initial launch could be so great that contractor such as the above would not be able to handle this.
I am a great lover of Trainz I believe that Auran has made a great product through its software. Having said that, I have never had any patience with individuals or companies which do not come up with the goods or services promised after a customer has paid and is expecting their product to be supplied in a reasonable time. I firmly consider that goods still not being delivered a month after payment has been received is not a reasonable period of time in this day and age. Above all not making contact with the customer to apologize and explain the reasons why in my book compounds the error tenfold.
