How do I configure AssetX to open Audacity buy clicking on a wav file listed in AssetX.
I don't know how to configure Options/tools/

Hi Xcrossi,

1) Iv'e been using Audacity for years great program very flexible, great for sampling from Youtube.
Because Audacity does not know what asset x is,open Asset X
Look for you wav. right click, open with.>Audacity.

2)Open Audacity,File,import,raw data,browse to your file.

Remember if you choose to associate all wavs with Audacity, all your wavs will display audacity icon, instead of your default windows icon, its annoying.

Edit.

Sorry, didn't know AssetX is an actual program,

I did manage to get Audacity listed in the AssetX "Tools" menu.
Audacity will open when clicked on.
Then from AssetX I open in explorer and drag *wav to Audacity /edit and save.
I think I need some kind of *.bat file install somewhere to open wav from AssetX.

See if it will let you add or edit an item on the right-hand side of that box. Use the Legend button (if available on your version) to get details on switches.
