Yessir, it is posted on the Microsoft Dowloads website. Mr. Gates wants us to spend money on a new Operating System. Bummer! Why is it when they've got Windows xp working smooth, then it gets the Boot, so they can sell you a operating system that still don't have all the bugs out yet?
Well that's still four months away, hopefully I'll have the funds to update by then. I was hoping that XP could go for another year before Micorsoft gave it the boot. To bad. -Robert- :(

By the way, Happy New Year to you all!

Doesn't mean you can't use it anymore, they just won't issue any new security updates and the like.

XP came out 11 years ago, hasn't been sold since 2009 - how long are they supposed to support it? Can't spend tons of money on a product that is now three generations old.

BTW, per the MS site: (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/products/lifecycle) - end of support (automatic fixes, updates, online technical assistance) is April 8, 2014

No longer supported does not mean it stops working, I'll bet there are people using the original Windows like there are people using Trainz versions from well before TRS2009 and those aren't supported.

Gmax is no longer supported, and despite the gloom-mongers then, Gmax is still alive and kicking.
