Article: Trainz Simulator 2 - iPad 50% Off This Week!

I'm hoping that your servers can handle the potential demand for this - bear in mind what happened a week or two ago when the older version was offered for free over a weekend.

I've got no issues with software discounts, but I do have an issue if it results in other users being unable to use the service they effectively paid for (i.e. Multiplayer/Download Station)

it appears that the iOS8 release has broken this Trainz Simulator 2 for iPad app...it now just crashes on launch...

I second this comment. Both Trainz 1 and Trainz 2 simply crash on launch after upgrading to iOS8.
Here's to hoping a fix is available soon.
 
Unfortunately iOS 8 has rendered Trainz unplayable. We are working on resolving the issue and will submit our fixes to Apple as soon as we can. This process normally takes 1-2 weeks. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

(Oh, and we will re-run the sale once this problem is solved).
 
Ironically, having to delete some data in order to create space for the install of ios8 I deleted the Trainz app!

Any word on the fixes for iOS 8 on iPad? I just downloaded it and it crashes on opening. I am worried about losing my routes!!:(
 
There is this new problem that I have recently encountered with TRAINZ 2 iPad edition. I'm still running ios 7 and when ever I create a new route and or session and I try to type something in, the keyboard won't pop up and let me rename it. If anyone is experiencing this same problem or knows how to fix it please post the answer!

Same problem with ios8, I can't search, name anything or upload my creation that has taken me months to build. Very frustrating, would be nice to get some feedback from Auran about the fix as the last message relating to this problem was a month ago. The game is awesome apart from this glitch.

Iaaan do you also have the problem with the bell on some of the freight trains? Cause I reported that one months ago and it still hasn't been fixed. Or the one where you can't adjust the way the water was like in TRAINZ simulator 1. It sucks that this is one of my favorite ios games and it has the most problems.

I'm a fun of Trainz, but I changed the Ipad for Samsung Tablet. What time will release the Trainz Simulator2 and Trainz Driver2 for android????
