Article: Nickel Plate High Speed Freight Set - Now Available

Good Afternoon All
Thank you for reporting the spelling error on the caboose. Seems this one slipped through (it was beta tested, by quite a few people, but doesn't seem to have been picked up).

Over the years, I've had other content creators mention they intentionally leave obvious errors in their models for beta testers to find, only to find them never reported. This does somewhat show that things can slip through from time to time, as even the best testers can miss things.

I have passed this on for it to be looked into, and resolved if we do release an update in future :)

Regards

Oh really now...

Do bear in mind that, although the correct spelling in this case is indeed "Nickel", in pretty much any Commonwealth nation the word *is* spelled "nickle". In spite of Hollywood's best efforts, we don't (yet) all speak American ... :hehe:

I am wondering if that is an excuse, because the website and forums spellcheck is spelling correctly...:D

Nickel or nickel <---- the first one got a red underline to correct it, the second one autocorrected.

I can't seem to download the DLC pack I ordered from simulator central, can anyone help me out please?

How are you trying to download it? I found that N3V didn't really make it clear that you have to download them in game.

Download ingame only. start automatic if trainz started. TS12-SP1 requiered. No download-link aviable. i got same prob and wait for download button, lol then send mail to auran. its this way only to get the Download.

Sorry but the statement "if we do release an update" thing is vague to me, either it's fixed, or will be and if so when?

You don't have to speak american.. In German, English, French and Italian and even in us ol' backwaters parts o' Texas, it's spelled the right way..

It's one of them thar Elements of that thar Periodic Table and is spelled with a capital N. My brother Dave, he works over in the Capitol in Austin but that's spelled with an O...

I was trying to follow the directions given in the red box on the simulator central website where the DLC pack was found, but nothing happened.

The one bit they missed out in that red box is that you need to register the serial number of the addon pack with Planet Auran in order to be able to download the content.

Wait what does that mean, download ingame only? I bought this too and have been waiting for an email. Anyone have exact steps on how to download and get this to work? thanks!

It means you need to have TS12 SP1 installed, and once the serial is registered onto your profile it automatically downloads when you are next in-game.

You register the serial number at Planet Auran and when you start TS12 it will automatically download, that's start actual Trainz not content Manager. that is the only method of downloading now for DLC released after TS12 SP1.

Serial number will be at Simulator Central under your account, my serial numbers on the left.

I own 2012 but run 2010 since my one major layout was begun with 2004 and gives me too much trouble when I try it with 2012.
Is there any chance the Berkshire will work with 2010??? I'd buy it in a flash since I love 50's era steam.
