ARN script calling new number every time asset is loaded - any way to change this?

Hi all,

I'm working with a recently-purchased payware locomotive that utilizes ARN. Every time that the unit is loaded (for example, re-loading a saved session) the numbers that were assigned to it change. I'm a bit of a proto-freak, and this is incredibly aggravating. Does anyone know if any workarounds exist that do not involve editing the script? The author has it encrypted. '

Only 2 things you can do.

Configure the asset to save it' number to it's asset data. That involves editing script - it doesn't have to be the main asset script that is encrypted but you can add another script layer on top to do this.

Remove the arn script entirely and manually assign numbers.
