Arn library, v2.51 major issue

So, I happened to discover one day that, without warning, ARN broke on some locomotives and potentially some rolling stock (I say "some" because I've found out that, for whatever reason, some engines with the library aren't affected). Basically, the renumbering feature is unavailable (In which the assigned number is only option), which has quickly become VERY frustration inducing. If anyone has any fixes/tips (Or at least an explanation as to why this has happened), I'll be happy.

You installed another version unknowingly because it's included with a third-party asset. If the built-in or DLC version you already have installed is faulty, right-click on it in Content Manager and choose Revert to original. If that doesn't work you will need to perform a database repair, or rebuild as it's called these days.

Well, it wasn't faulty, but it did say "Installed from DLS", so I reverted it to original and I got the "Built-In". That didn't work, so I rebuilt the database, which also didn't work. Now I'm confused.

There may be other things. Check your faulty assets.
It doesn't sound like OP is dealing with a faulty dependency to me. If his ARN library were faulty, he wouldn't be able to spawn affected locomotives/rolling stock for him to see that, in his words, "the renumbering feature is unavailable (In which the assigned number is only option)".

Yeah, it was my fault for not stating that it wasn't faulty to begin with. Sorry about that. All it said was "Installed from DLS", before I reverted it to "Built-In" via the revert to original feature, in which even that didn't work.

Decided to add some pictures as examples of the issue in practice.

Yeah, it's strange.

I'm really at a loss of what to do now; this thread's momentum is dead, and I just found out that my Jointed Rail F40PH has been a casualty, a locomotive I PAID for. I might have to seek help elsewhere if nobody replies with (At the bare minimum) an explanation for what has happened.

First thing is the ARN library has nothing to do with this. This is JR TFX Library related. You appear to be missing a small part of the interface but it is nothing to panic about. Compare:

I do not see where you list your specific version or build but for TS19 and up, which is all we really support anymore, The latest version of TFX is available on the DLS: <kuid2:45324:555246:7> Jointed Rail Train Effects library v 1.46d

So are you telling me that you have <kuid2:45324:555246:7> installed already?

What version and build are you using?

Have you checked to see if you are trying to perform these actions in driver where they are purposely not allowed?

Well, for starters: My build is 117009 according to my launcher (I have TRS19 Standard Edition). In terms of using driver for stuff, I have used driver whenever I tried one of my methods to see if they have worked, but have not used driver to change anything (I didn't even think that was possible till now).

So um, I found out that in surveyor that I could change the numbers, but why can't I do that in driver anymore?
Never could. You can change the numbers in the Session editor, which is the same as Surveyor with the session-layer unlocked and where you set up your trains, configure industries, and set up other things required for your session to operate.

Before I forget, thanks to everyone who gave me an understanding of the situation. I know that I've sounded a little rude at points, and I'd like to apologize for that. Again, thanks everybody.
