Are there any ( really ) long routes for TS2010 / TS2012 ?

With regard to Montana Rail Link if you want to play solo you can either play it as multiplayer with a password or go into Surveyor, Session, click on Rules and delete the Multiplayer rule.

@ Joe....just downloading WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode ....may i ask when it was last updated ?

I made some minor changes to the route several months ago, and before that, I changed two bridges that were giving some of you a lot of trouble. Other then that, it's basically still in its original form.

Just as a matter of clarification, there are two WM & B&O Mega Routes. The original was designed to run in TS2010 in 'Compatiblity' mode. The second route, (WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode) is a conversion of the original route to run in TS2010, and TS12 in Native Mode only. The major change in that route was the addition of Pofig's speed trees.

Incidentally, the Pofig trees used in the Wm & B&O Mega Route Native Mode route are now available in a zip folder that can be downloaded from the route page on my web site.

All routes are inherently single-player. In fact, Trainz multiplayer has only been publicly available since the release of the TS2010 MP BETA patch not too long ago. So most routes will have single player sessions.

If you are up for a challenge and about 6 hours of continuous passenger driving, you could try out my session for the UMR-2013-SUMMER route, "Neil Smith Express v1.2".

The 'WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode' works well in TS2010, and TS12. Click on my sig below, and go to the 'Routes' drop down menu.

Hi Joe, any idea where to find these 2 kuids? Unknown Location: <kuid2:35412:38187:1>

I'm a bit premature lacoo11111 but I am presently still working on the whole of the Northern Ireland Railways system. Rail there is all passenger and there will be a bit of interesting rural and urban scenery. However don't expect it any time soon! Presently, I am woriking on the last 25 miles or so spread between my remaining two routes but iI am hopefully planning to extend right over the Border all the way to Dublin if I can stick to this (!). So although my original plan was just for Ulster and completed in 2012 the cross-border extension will take me into 2013.

I mentioned in a previous post in this thread that I had previously replaced those two bridges, however on Aug 22, I made some minor changes, and must have inadvertently used an older version of the route that still had the bridges.

After reading your post yesterday, I checked the route and discovered, much to my dismay, that the route still had the two bridges in it.

Yesterday I replaced the them with the same two that I previously used, and uploaded the route to my website. This will correct any downloads since 8/22.

If you've made any extensive changes to the route, and would rather replace the bridges yourself, you may do so as follows:

Bridge 35412:38192 (located in the Narrows just West of Cumberland) is a highway bridge, and has been replaced with 'Yarn Bridge 02 L2 DL2 Si + Sh' Kuid2:124017:260367:2, available on the DLS

Bridge 35412:38187 on the B&Os main, (located at the junction of the ICV RR just east Of Connellsville) is also a highway bridge, and has been replaced with 'MB Arch Bridge Road Skew L10 Stone', Kuid 35412:38195 on the DLS. I used 'JR Dark Grey' Kuid2:45324:38025:3 located at Jointed rail.com.

Install the track first, add one spline point in the middle, and adjust for a smooth curve. Next, install the bridge just under the track, add three spline points to create four equal segments, and adjust so that the track is centered on the bridge. Keep the two tracks close together to prevent the ballast from extending beyond the outer edge of the bridge. I originally selected this particular bridge because it is very similar to the prototype located in that area.

My apologies for creating this problem for some of you. When making changes to any of my routes, I normally download the route from my website, but for some reason I didn't do that this time.

Regards,

Joe
