:( I would like to Apologise to the Trainz Forum Member's for lack of Screenshot's,
as it has come to my attention that imageshack is starting to reduce the amount of pic's that are uploaded for free.

Thankyou for the information re: Imageshack.

I use them to post my route screenshots.

It looks like the image you have tried to post is not coming up as well.

Oh, what a surprise here...another supposedly 'free' website, trying to get money out of people, whilst spamming them with banners and advertising...bah

You can use Imageshack, without registering, just uploading. Not perfect but you don't need to register at least.

And Muliebuck, your right. Capitalism is terrible... Especially when it comes to the net.

It's still far better than the alternative i.e. socialism/communism.

Why not just register a second account? Possibly with another provider?

Then you haven't heard about the real communism. No country have so far ever been one. Korea DPR is Juche, USSR was state catapitalistic and same with China today. Cuba is working good but needs to reform their system.

As I said, you don't need to register there.

Communism works on a small scale only, but always falls apart due to human nature. True capitalism doesn't work either, we had it back in the 1870s until 1902. You need a balance of several social economic disciplines, like how the US has now. (despite ignorance to the contrary.) Adding touches of socialism very lightly has been helping us for a while now.

But I digress. Use Imgur. It is a better hosting site for free.

The communism may not work now, a friend of mine in the DPRK says it's best to brainwash the children to believe in a different system, it's a little bit evil but my father would always beat me when I were a child if I think about a different system.

So far only system that works is Marxism and Leninism. Stalinism and Juche is very very bad

The bad thing about capitalism is that if you don't have education your screwed (like me) and if you don't have any money you're screwed as well. and corporations are treating people like rats... look at the music how good it was back in the 60s-70s-80s and today, today's music is crap thanks to capitalist only wanting to make a profit.

By the way, look at how beautiful the metro in Moscow (as the communists said they built palace for the people) are. (Screenshot taken in Trainz, it's far more beautiful in real life). This is Belarusskaya station on Zamoskvoretskaya line, Moskva Metro

All of the above are abject failures except China, and only because they've adopted a form of capitalism.

There was a story of a New Jersey professor teaching a course in economics. After some students in his class began touting the hope and change of a certain recent election, he decided to grade accordingly. On the first exam, everyone received a B; the lousy students were happy because they didn't have to put in any effort and got a decent grade, while the hard-working students were irritated that all they got was a lousy B. On the second exam, everyone in the class was awarded a D as the hard-working students realized that they weren't going to be rewarded for their efforts. Finally, on the third and also the final exams, everyone received F grades and the entire class flunked because there was no incentive to work harder.

Back to this topic: thanks to capitalism, you have alternatives to Imageshack. Flickr, imgur, photobucket, hostthenpost, etc.

I already said they may have bad conditions, but they aren't a failure. Kim Jong Il and his son Kim jong Un are rather dicators, than communism.

That ain't communism, everyone doesn't get the same grades, and the work will be different as well. You need to contribute to the society, everyone must do it. No one is allowed to live on the street. You get a better job with better grades, if you don't have the grades you can always return to school to get your grades (even if you are an adult). This is not possible in capitalism.

Maybe I have these sites but, in Communism I could have love instead.

A society that creates and allows awful conditions for most if not all is a failure, and communism enables dictatorships like N. Korea, Cuba, etc. due to the need for a strong state and centralized planning and control. Communism and socialism have proven this time and again. Also, I don't know where you got the idea that you can't return to school in capitalistic economies; people do it all the time, myself included. And, we have a choice where to go, rather than being relegated to lousy, underperforming schools we are stuck with due to geography.

BTW, if you want to continue this, let's move it to Trainz Community or PM.

Could be, a very strong person need to do this system right. And sadly Kim Il Sung failed just to get it better himself. Lenin was good for Russia, and people in Russia liked him at the time. It's just that Stalin came and destroyed it all.

If it's possible in capitalism too it's great, hopefully you can get a job with those grades. If it's so, then capitalism isn't that bad.

We don't need to continue this, I don't know how the topic came to politics. Everyone have their opinions. I suggest we should talk about trains more and politics less

Can we forget politics, that is a brilliant screenshot of the Moscow Metro, is it really Trainz or a photo. Thanks also for the list of Russian sites in another thread I have some of the carriages and diesels and these are excellent quality. I also like Russian steam locos and will try out some of the sites but I believe there are only a few available.
I would really like some East European routes but none seem to be on the N3V Download Station.

It's trainz 12, Zamoskvoretsaya line avaiable here: http://metrorus.ru/?p=709

You need the 81-717 metro train which is avaible here to run the route: http://metrorus.ru/?p=763

It's by far, the best metro routes for Trainz avaible, on the metrorus site there are different lines as well.

They are excellent, your right :)

Here is a carriage which almost look as in real life:

And compartment in transsiberian train:

and an ER2 in Moscow:

They are all very recommended and the carriage is going to be used for my transsiberian route project which is so far only 2% complete :) After asking for permission...

Sorry about the steam locos, they aren't very widely avaiable since most russians rather drive diesel and electric, but, you should be able to find some USSR steam rolling stock while browsing around a little.

Reason why they aren't uploaded to the download station is simple, they don't own a legal copy of trainz and can only distribute their content on their webpages and threads :)) funny but true

Russian routes: http://ts.ucoz.org/load/marshruty/maps/17

(I suggest you use a online translator to be sure to get all your content and to download all requiered packs) Москва — Малоярославец + Поварово-II — Детково and http://www.tsmteam.ru/download/maps/abhazia-3-49 are very detailed and fun to drive.

Forget about ImageShack. I stopped using them long ago last year when they apparently had a malware infection. Recently when I uploaded some photos to ImageShack for posting here on the Trainz forum because uploading them to HostThenPost didn't work was the first time I had uploaded anything to them in quite a while.

I had already noted and posted here in the "How to use ImageShack" thread in the Screenshots forum back in December about how they now require you to register to get the URL in the "direct link" field. I also posted a work-around for this.

Nowadays I use http://hostthenpost.org/. It's free and only has one banner ad at the bottom of the page that seems to not have been working for a while. I'll gladly recommend uploading your screenshots to them, not ImageShack.

Regards,

Zachary.

I have most of the routesand trains from Metrorus and can attest to the fact that they are amazing quality.

Yes, they are. Try set your settings to antialiasing 4x and anisotropic to 16x to get photorealistic feel.

Back to steam engines I have found a small steam engine from Russia :)

Thanks Zachary

I think i will use both website's and try to keep only the good screenshots to be uploaded :D

What some people mean when they say "free" is it doesn't cost THEM anything, but they often fail to realize that someone has to pay for it. The image host may make enough money from ads, or not, and then then have to start charging someone, usually the users.
