Anything anywhere remotely like this on Trainz I can use?

I am still plodding on with my build of the whole of N. Ireland Railway system. However the old yards at Adelaide Depot are gone and being replaced by a brand new coach depot. However I want to also update the area beside the Adelaide Halt because of this. Before it was several yard lines and have been lifted as i noted when over visiting. It doesn't have to be exactly like it of course just remotely will do!

This is the link to a webpage on it and the linked document. It shows a sketch in red and grey. If not I will just use an existing NIR building on the DLS.

Unless I found the wrong place, Google still shows the yards, no bus station. Google found Adelaide House which then also showed a station and yards still with stock on the tracks.

I lived in Portadown for five years but never knew that NI had an Adelaide.

Hi narrowgauge.

Lived in Portadown and didn't know there was a station (halt really). Tut, tut. It has been there since Victorian times I'm afraid and was then reduced to a Halt. With 2 platforms and a footbridge hard to miss having been there so long! You gave me a good laugh at that one.

Google Earth is not up to date. They started ripping up track some time ago and there have been big changes in the last 2 visits from Glasgow in the last year. You would hardly know there were extensive yards at one time. Over the years I have been a visitor to the Province on holiday and taking camps over so have been on that line many times. Even Portadown Station is not in it's original position and was moved a long time back. Been in Portadown too and a pleasant time too. As for the replacement buildings I doubt very much if I wil find anything that modern or vaguely like it but thought would try. NIR needed this development due to lack of space at Yorkgate. Think I will just use the NIR shed on the DLS again! I hope to be back over in Ulster some time after New Year and I am still progressing in the build of the NIR and eventually the line to Dublin for Enterprise Expresses to be run. My aim is to include over the Irish Sea for Trainz and in a modern setting. Must get back to working on the Londonderry Line at Coleraine......... Regards.

I knew that Portadown had a station, I travelled by trains a couple of times. It was Adelaide that I didn't know. It was of interest as I live in Adelaide in OZ now.

About Google, I thought that it was showing the yards at Adelaide unless I had the wrong station. What I found was definitely loaded with trains with about 5 or 6 tracks, enough to give you the layout you were after. Look for Adelaide House and the station is on that screen.

I didn't realise you were Australian hence my puzzlement as Adelaide was the first stop out of central Belfast on the way to Portadown! You misunderstood me as I have been there.

Google is still showing the old layout that I mentioned in my piece I am afraid. Having been a regular vistor over years and twice since I started my build of N. Ireland Railways, I generally know the place and have been at the Adelaide Halt as indicated and went on the footbridge to survey what was there. Seemed a pointless exercise when they were dismantling things really and some track removed since the Google picture. There is no way to get close enough even when they do complete the new modern carriage shed etc on Google. The road east of it parallel to the railway has a wall that will block the view.

There probably isn't much point in me waiting till they finish the building as there is nothing on Trainz like it so will as I mused just use the existing NIR shed on the DLS and stick some wee modern office thing beside it!

Ah-ha. Spankingly modern and will be very helpful and a bit better than what was going to happen! Thanks stagecoach.
