Anyone know what the Blue Comet is called in Railyard

Look for 'CNJ' - there is three different locos included - versions in blue and black, and an unlined black freight version. The carriages are also listed the same way under 'CNJ'.

Maybe it isn't supposed to work in TS12, cause I installed it twice and see nothing that says CNJ.....

OK. my stupidity was the problem. When I ran the program to install Blue Comet, it asked for my serial number. I thought it meant the serial number for TS12. I copied and pasted that original serial number in the window, and it acted like it was going to install the add on, but obviously never did. Finally I noticed, that I had an email from Auran with another serial number in it, along with the confirmation of the Blue Come order. I put that serial number in, and a couple of minutes later I have my Blue Comet cars and Locos...... Still helped to know it was listed under CNJ......

Look for the Blue Comet consists in surveyor there's Blue Comet Heavy and light versions.
By the way the installer had to accept the SN for TS12 as that is a valid SN.

How did you guys install the Blue Comet. The "BlueComet_installer" file just opens an "open with" tab with a list of programs and none apply to the file type. Can anyone help me?

It is an execute file. If you have windows 7 you may have to set windows explorer to show extensions. You should see BlueComet_Installer.exe Click on it, it will ask you for the serial number for the Blue Comet that they emailed you, insert that, and it will install. If your explorer is not set up correctly to show extensions, you can't just add an exe on the end of the file because then what you will have is BlueComet_Installer.exe.exe and it will not work.

Here is how to make sure you are seeing file extensions in explorer.

You need to rename that installer "BlueComet_installer.EXE". Adding the .EXE identifies it an an executable file that Windows should run directly.

Read my post, if you just add the exe and your explorer is not set up properly, it won't work either.,

Did everything you guys said it worked but now it says there isn't a TS2009 or TS2010 installed on my computer when there is, but it's all added on my TS2012 launcher. Do I need to redownload TS 2010 onto my computer.

If it is added on your TS12 launcher under general, with the serial number, then it should work. Do you see the routes?

Must be a Windows 7 thing, because on other Microsoft OS', having an extra .EXE still allows it to be runnable unless you're using a shortcut.

There is no operating system that I know of that you can add an exe to a execute file such as Trainz.exe changing it to trains.exe.exe and expect it to run like trains.exe. It won't happen. That is why it is imperative that windows explorer be set up properly to show extensions.
