Anyone know how to disable Drive Auto Run for Windows XP?

Would anyone know how to disable the drive auto run for Windows XP please?
I've looked in the control panel, but I can't find it anywhere.

EDIT 20:39 Mon 27/4/2009: Okay I've found where the option is. It's already on prompt for action, but if it's an external drive (except SD card) it still starts to autoplay.

If i read correctly, then goto google etc, and search for "xp autoplay"

If you mean something else i'm not sure

edit: Been that many years since using xp but, in my computer where you see the drive icons, can you not right click and goto properties and set autoplay ? (again i assume you mean cd/usb etc)

I've edited my above post, but I've found out that you go to properties in each of the drivers in Windows Explorer.

Nowt worse than autoplay in some circumstances

I think I've got this sorted now. This thread can be locked, deleted, thrown in the bin, thrown into the sea, ocean, or whatever.
