Wait... huh? I really didn't mean any insult or anything. I was just adding some constructive criticism.

Anyway, the color, in my opinion, needs to be more of a graphiteish, flat black. More of a charcoal.

Once again, I meant no insult. I think that it looks good, and I am glad that we are getting more US steam.

I tried several grays and some greys too (Ha Ha), But they just didn't look so good. I tried to lighten the existing color abit and added a tad of blue to get that vintage metal look. Just can't seem to get a picture of riviets to look right on a cylinder for some reason, so we see at next update of the prototype.

Hello I just downloaded the Allegheny and it is a very nice addition to my US steam collection but I hav just one problem: I cant get the whistle to work. It works in railyard but not in driver. Please help.

Thanks for the Alleghany! I do have one strange problem. TRS2006,SP1

Got the tender, loco boiler, front drivers, rear coupler directly via the packs from your site, which directed me to the DLS. Put the loco together and it runs fine. Couple the tender and it can't run, drivers turn very slowly, but no movement. It's as though the tender has the brakes locked on. Remove the tender and she runs fine.

I checked everything and no items are missing in CMP, all dependencies are there. Any thoughts on this?

I find the same.

It has been recommended to change the entry in the Rear coupler config file "tag" mass from 0kg. to 100kg. for the Loco to perform in TRS'06. Those that have downloads can try this and I have changed here for the coming update.

Try this. It worked for me.

That worked. To those who will be trying this, when you change the value to 100, do not put "Kg" behind the number, Then it doesn't work. Just put the number 100 in place of 0 and it works fine.

I'm going to work on the horn next.

It works for me, I will update the zip soon with the new details and sound configs. Just can't get the whistle steam to work with "H", but maybe in a day I will get that figured out. many of the assets out there do not have this either, so we will have to make due with what god gives us!

I just like to do things right! Some of my assets had to be redone too many times because I did not look at the details close enough. And some came back to me with things in the files that were not supposed to be there which created a major problem. So I want to try to do it right the first time around. What you have now was just a prototype for testing, soon it will be ready for production.

BTW, I have the whistle sounding in driver, by "H" and by "+", but at such a low level as to be inaudible to those not listening for it.
